Monthly Vintage High Tea

Come, Let us have some Tea and talk about Happy things

Set in the heart of our beautifully restored villa, we open up the doors on the last Sunday of the month and dress the interior of our restaurant with vintage apparel, flowers, teacups, pearls, candles and teapots.

Our high teas are served in vintage tea-ware and every small detail adds to the experience, even down to the silver teaspoons, sugar tongs, crystal cream pots & jam jars.

If you have a special event you would like to celebrate with a High tea, look no further.

We love hosting memorable parties, from baby showers to birthdays, sophisticated hens doos to anniversaries or even that belated catch up with your girlfriends, aunties or Grandmamas.

We have monthly specials of french bubbles for $50per bottle or by the glass $10.

To save disappointment we recommend booking online at least two months in advance of preferred date to secure your table.

Sittings start from 11am or 2pm and are for two hours.

If the sitting you want is fully allocated, please join our standby list via our booking system.

For Groups over 4 guests we require one Bill per table for timely processing of payments on the day.

Private Function High Teas

for larger groups we can arrange a bespoke High Tea for your chosen date, based on the Villas availability. For day events you would have the villa for 4hours and we can seat 50-65 guests comfortably for high tea.

T&C’s apply including a minimum spend,venue hire, theming.

We can cater for most dietaries with the exception of Vegan/Halal menus.

Terms & Conditions

All High Tea reservations require a credit card authorisation to confirm your booking. Please note your card will NOT be charged.

Your table wont be considered confirmed until the credit card authorisation is received or for larger groups a deposit is received.

Note your card WILL NOT be charged unless you meet the following criteria

Late Cancellations or No Show on Day of the event:

Your table will be charged a $25fee (per cancelled seat) if we dont receive notification of the cancellation or numbers change within 48hours of the event.

This gives us the opportunity to amend our floor plan, re-fill vacant seats and also amend ordering.

We understand that on occasion some parties have number changes due to sudden illness, in these instances we may choose to waiver this fee at managements discretion.

We apologise for any inconvenience this clause may cause.

Not only was the food and tea really delicious, super fresh and tasty but the whole dining experience was exceptional. Just returned from Moxie in Birkenhead- a high tea to celebrate a family 40th wedding anniversary. Beautiful decor, excellent high quality food and presentation and a very personal delivery by staff that have a passion for what they do. Better than many of the 'big name' high teas we have had a top hotels around the world. Will definitely go again and also try their night time restaurant with steak night as well as other interesting options.
